VCA Awards
The Virginia Correctional Association proudly recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the field of corrections. Each year, awards are presented at the Annual Training Institute to honor those who exemplify the highest standards of service and professionalism.
Criminal Justice Employee of the Year
Presented to a corrections professional who has demonstrated exceptional performance, dedication, and service in the field of criminal justice.
Lifetime Career Achievement Award
Honors an individual whose career-long contributions have significantly advanced the corrections profession in Virginia.
VCA Member of the Year
Recognizes a VCA member who has gone above and beyond in their service to the Association and the corrections community.
Awards are presented at the Annual Training Institute.
VCA Scholarships
The Virginia Correctional Association is committed to supporting the professional development and education of corrections professionals and students pursuing careers in criminal justice.
VCA Academic Scholarship
Available to students enrolled in criminal justice, criminology, or related degree programs. Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement and a commitment to a career in corrections.
